Aphra Behn Emerging Artists' Festival March 15-17, 2019

In its third year, the Aphra Behn Emerging Artists’ Festival will consist of new plays written by Jackie Chambers, EK Doolin, and Delaney Piggnins & directed by Lana Dvorak, Jeanitta Perkins, and Kristen Strom.

Aphra Behn Emerging Artists’ Festival is named for the British playwright, poet, translator, and fiction writer from the Restoration era. As one of the first English women to earn her living by writing, Aphra Behn broke cultural barriers and served as a literary role model for later generations of women.
